The staff were very happy to help with any requests. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and nice to have the choice of fan or aircon. Walking distance to town.

Good sized & comfortable room. Clean & well serviced. Excellent position on Cairns esplanade. Only a short walk to reef terminal & many restaurants along the boardwalk.
Evening meal service on the terrace was very slow. Waiting time was excessive & spoilt an otherwise perfect setting to enjoy a meal.

Good help from reception staff, and a lovely location with access to the promenade. The pool looked very inviting although we did not use it. Nice outlook from both the rooms we stayed in (had 2x1 night stays in between tour.

We satyed at this hotel for 3 nights after doing some voluntary work and sleeping in dorms. This was what we needed after a not-so-ordinary holiday.

The pool was a major highlight, and we loved how close we were to the marina and the aquarium. Make sure to check out the great cocktails by the pool and enjoy the friendly bar staff-they were fantastic!
We had a hiccup during check-in since our room wasn't ready on time, a bit frustrating. It's something to keep in mind if you're arriving early.

Exellent location great staff and views
Buffet breakfast was not worth the 50.00 dollars charged. I always pick the hotel to stay for full buffet breakfast we had it one morning then went elsewhere for buffet for the rest of our holiday and have to say that if this was not upgraded to a better standard I probably would not stay again. But in saying that everything else was wonderful.

The staff at the hotel are the strength, very friendly, timely and polite. They were very helpful and made my stay easy. The location of the hotel was terrific and the view quite nice.
I want to be honest about these surveys and I hope you are too. First of all I note there are no negative choices in "your words best describes" section. Is this a fair survey. I would say the hotel is nice, except all the furnishings are very very dated and so are the fixtures, such as lights, carpets, tiles, baths and sinks, chairs and desks. The restaurant charged me $34 for a piece of steak which was obviously frozen and then thawed by micro wave as I ordered it med rare. The middle was perfect the outside edgesd well done and tuff. Definitely microwved. The steak was served on a bed of mash. There was no greens at all, no salad, no vegetables except mash. I wanted to eat at the hotel only during my thyree day stay but I refuse to pay that much for the meal I got. The staff at the restaurant were sympathetic and at least they asked what I thought. I also dont like being charged for parking my car at a hotel I have decided to give my business. Really $10...is it worth you doing that and giving people a reason not to like the hotel. The spa was not hot at all...
